(10 Dec 1963) The Nobel Peace Prizes for 1962 and 1963 are delivered to the winners at a formal ceremony at Oslo University. CJ Hambro of the Nobel Committee presents the awards to Linus Pauling for his campaigning against the testing of nuclear weapons, and the International Committee of the Red Cross jointly with the League of Red Cross Societies. John MacAuley receives the award as representative of the League of Red Cross Societies and Leopold Boissier is representative for the International Committee of the Red Cross.
