Ingredients :-
Ripe mango cut in to big pieces.
Oil ,mustard,red chilli 1 no for tempering
Jaggery -1 small cup
To grind to coarse paste:-
Coconut -1/2 small jar
Red chilli powder- 1 spoon
Turmeric-1 tsp
Jeera-1 spoon
Add the cut mango pieces in a kadai ,add few curry leaves and add 1 1/2 cup water and jaggery as needed for sweetness,1 pinch salt and allow to boil well keeping it closed. Now after 5 min add the coarse grind paste and stir well .Add 1 spoon oil in a kadai and when hot add 1 spoon mustard to pop up ,add curry leaves.,1 red chilli and add to the ready dish.Serve hot with rice .
This is tasty sweet side dish for rice along with spicy vathal kulambu.(A south indian gravy for rice)
