You may hear it referred to as the "Twin Islands," or the "Emerald Islands," or the "Ksamil Islands." We just call it, our new favorite tropical beach paradise!

No joke. We may have just visited one of our favorite beaches of all time. A narrow sand bar connects the Twin Islands in Ksamil, Albania. While the world spins chaotically, we'll be in seventh heaven.

On one side, the westerly winds push waves from a vast open sea and crash them against two rock covered islands—after breaking, the water slowly and gently inches its way up onto the creamy sand bar. On the other, a calm and protected bay sits, tranquility waiting for swimmers to enjoy its crystal clear water and blissful atmosphere. A true utopia!
