First, if your engine is running just fine do not think of using any Oil Additives, just use good motor oil and you'll be fine!
In my case, I had a pretty severe engine problem with my M3, and that's why I used it. the e92 had Turbo problems, so I did test it out as well as z4 has multiple oil leaks, and that was the test as well, but in the real life, I would not be using any additives.
