Cleanblend Healthy Ranch Dressing Using Cashews!
Ingredients:
● 1 cup raw cashews + water to soak overnight
● 1/4 cup olive oil
● 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, or more as needed (unsweetened is important for this recipe)
● 3 tablespoons lemon juice
● 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
● 1 teaspoon dried dill
● dash of paprika (we used a smoked flavour)
● 2 tablespoons fresh garlic chives and parsley, minced (regular chives will do in a pinch)
● salt and fresh black pepper, to taste
Directions:
● Soak cashews for between 4-12 hours in water (this will create the creamy texture essential to this recipe)
● Drain water from cashews and Cleanblend nuts until smooth with oil, almond milk, lemon juice, onion powder, dill, and paprika, garlic chives.
● If the mixture requires thinning add soy or almond milk of your choice 1 teaspoon a a time.
● Season with salt and pepper.
● Refrigerate 1-2 hours before serving.
Notes:
A creamy ranch dressing with none of the usual dairy fats, sugars, or additives. Use generously over fresh green salads or as a dipping sauce with crisp raw vegetables.
