With around 2,000 different species of sea stars living in the ocean, it comes as no surprise that some have a spiky approach to securing their next meal. The crown-of-thrones starfish can cause some serious destruction to coral reefs, however, Mother Nature ensures that all is balanced in the underwater world and the sea stars are not left untouched.
