In this video I am changing a rear right wheel speed sensor (also known as ABS sensor) on an Audi A7 4G 2012 S-Line. The process is identical on Audi A6 C7, and very similar on Audi A1, A3, A4, A5, A8 and Volkswagen vehicles. The intention is to show viewers how to change or replace the speed/ABS sensor and not spend a fortune in the dealership.
Faults indicating the sensor fault can be:
- Start/Stop system fault
- Stabilisation program and ABS fault
- TPMS or tyre pressure system fault
- Parking brake fault
- Abnormal automatic transmission operation
- Speedometer malfunction
- Check engine light comes on
- Cruise control does not work
I have paid just over £20 for a new sensor instead of spending hundreds of pounds in the dealership. That said I hope this video will be helpful.
Genuine part numbers for the sensor used: 4E0927803F, 4E0927803D, 4E0927803A, 4E0927803F, 4E0927803D, 4E0927803F, 4E0927803F, 4E0927803D, 4E0927803A
