Nikko made some really nice gear, but they're one of the lesser known makers. I describe some of what I've done to restore this integrated amplifier originally released in 1977, but mainly this video deals with my attempts to fix a problem that I've been trying to fix for a while: Random, intermittent bursts of static from one or both channels. Here, I give some of the front panel a deep cleaning and replace a couple of transistors known to cause problems (2SC1400).
