Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Joanna asked a question a while ago: “How to draw your feet from the perspective of looking down at them?”.
We’re dealing with foreshortening again - the knees seem to be very large because they’re closer to the eyes, and the feet are small because they’re further away.
I don’t like to think about vanishing points on a fictitious horizon. I just want to draw! So if you’re like me -you’ll like this technique: we’re making a continual line drawing.
Meaning, you choose one point to start your drawing, and once you start drawing, you do not lift your pen anymore until you’re done.
