The sequence of flash floods in Uttarakhand are becoming increasingly common. Melting glaciers or impediments to river flows are creating unstable lakes that can unleash a mass of water downstream destroying everything. Is climate change the cause of this or is it a natural event, and can anything be done to solve this problem?
