WELL-KNOWN COMEDIANS FINDING HUMOR IN THE WORLD AS WE'VE KNOWN IT - December 30, 2022...At an arena near the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., I joined a boisterous crowd of people eager to laugh and to share that laughter with others. Even when times are tenuous, comedians always find a way to make us appreciate what's funny about the predicaments we humans put ourselves in. This evening was no exception. In fact, this sample crams a lot of topics into just a few minutes - Chris Rock/Will Smith - The Slap at the Academy Awards Show, Kanye West Gone Missing, Georgia U.S. Senate Candidate Herschel Walker, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson, Donald Trump, Bill Cosby's eyes, the Amber Heard/Johnny Depp Defamation Trial, The COVID-19 Pandemic, and the January 6, 2021 Capitol Riot are just some of the serious matters which made this crowd roar with laughter. Heads up, the language used would make Richard Pryor smile and Bob Hope blush.
