《我们都爱双语3》是我的团队继《我们都爱双语1》和《我们都爱双语2》之后的另一个精心制作,目的在于为学前孩童创作中文儿歌,让孩童通过活泼、有趣的方式来学习和使用母语。学习母语不仅能让新加坡的孩童与世界接轨,同时也能加强孩童对东方文化与传统的认识。在创作歌曲时,我们特别从现实生活中寻找素材,目的是要让孩童在听歌的当儿,也能认识自己的生活环境,从而培养他们从小积极学习母语的热忱。

We Love Bilingualism 3 is an initiative by Singapore songwriter, Richard Wan, to write and compose Mandarin songs for children that are set within our local context. Started in 2013, this project aims to engage young learners and foster their interest in the Chinese language through songs and music. Songs are a good means of helping children learn more about the world around them in a fun and engaging way. In addition, it can strengthen their awareness of our Asian heritage and provide them with an opportunity to learn languages.
Supported by the Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism, the launch of our earlier products We Love Bilingualism 1 and We Love Bilingualism 2 was a success. This prompted us to develop its sequel We Love Bilingualism 3.
