Every winter, there are several winter performances of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker ballet held at the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb. The tickets sell out in a matter of hours. This year, the square where the building is located has been decorated with nutcracker statues, turning this beautiful Baroque Revival building (1895) into a fairy tale setting.
