Richard Allgire, also known as Dick, is a former news anchor for KITV news for over 25 years. He shares his journey of how becoming a journalist led him to be a reporter. From interviewing him, we learn the impact journalism can have on the people around us, as well as how to become a journalist in the world today. Dick currently enjoys his retirement and still resides in Honolulu.
