The US Air Force has started taking delivery of Massive Ordnance Penetrators, or MOBs, from Boeing. Launched from B-52 or B-2 bombers, these 30,000-pound GPS-guided bunker buster bombs can penetrate up to 30 stories, or 60 meters, of reinforced concrete, allowing the Air Force to hit deeply buried and hardened targets such as the ones Iran and North Korea have built to protect their nuclear facilities.
