2022 Audi RS3 Sportback Launch Edition POV Review

Hello guys, welcome back to Car Obsession, and welcome to another POV review. This time I'm delighted to say I'm behind the wheel of the new 2022 Audi RS3 Sportback Launch Edition. This pumped up hyper hot hatch retains the same 2.5 litre 5 pot from previous generations, only this time it offers a bit more torque.

The 2.5 litre TFSI offers 400hp along with 500Nm, with power sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed S Tronic and Audi's legendary quattro all wheel drive. 62mph is over and done with in just 3.8 seconds, and the top speed is 155mph, although the Launch Edition has an increased top speed of 174.

This German hatchback may come with a lot of performance, but it does come at a price. The Audi RS3 has never been a cheap car, but that's even less so for the third generation as the car on test here (which only has one option) is over £60,000! Yes, you read that right.

Ok, so you do go get a lot as standard such as LED lights, RS styling, 19" alloys, adaptive suspension, keyless entry, Bang and Olufsen sound system, 10.1" MMI system, 12.3' Audi Virtual Cockpit, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, wireless phone charging pad, navigation, leather seats, heated front seats plus more.
