If you love Gerbeaud Slice (Zserbo Szelet) you will certainly fall for these rich chocolaty bonbon type dessert. My family just adores it, which only proves that it's wonderful to experiment with old-world recipes. Fantastic for Christmas as a dessert and also as an edible gift for that special someone.

This recipe didn't make any of my cookbooks because I wanted the more traditional version in them. Gerbeaud slice has always been an all time favorite of Hungary and I wouldn't be surprised if these little balls would also become popular.
