7/6/23
At 18:00:21 the town of Cherokee conducted a weekly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens on Thursday, July 6th, 2023, the test consisted of about a 2 Minute Attack.
Storms have taken over the area for the past few days so siren tests have been limited. Thankfully Cherokee isn’t weather permitting so I thought it was time to go and record their other T-128. The nearby 16V1T-B failed. It goes for 3 minutes and I never heard it at all even after the T-128 shut down. This unit replaced a Darley Champion a while back. The Champion is still there, it’s stashed in those trees behind the T-128
Testing Schedule: Every Thursday at 6:00PM

Distance: About 130ft
Sirens Heard:
