Simple Herbal Chicken in soup ● Homemade Recipe [Simple & Easy]
Ingredients:
2 whole chicken leg
20g Wolfberries
30g Yuk Chuk (Solomon’s seal)
30g Dried Longan
8 pieces Red Dates (remove seed)
8 pieces Dried Scallop
5g Dang gui
2 tablespoon Shao Hsing cooking wine
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon Oil
1 litre Water
Steps
Preparation:
Soak Dried Scallop in hot water for 10 mins
Rinse the wolfberries, yuk chuk, dried longan, dang gui and red dates
In a pot, pour in water and put in the chicken
Bring to boil. Skim off the fat while the water is boiling
Once the water is boil, remove and wash the chicken
Heat the pan. Add 1 tablespoon Oil
Sauté the blanched chicken for about 2 minutes
Add 1 litre of water and all the other ingredients.
Boil in medium heat for at least 20 mins
