Los Angeles duo THEY. dropped their album 'Nü Religion: Hyena' back in February, and it included the track “Dante’s Creek.” The chorus of the self-produced song features a sample of “I Don’t Want To Wait” by Paula Cole. The latter track is best remembered for being the theme song of the ‘90s teen classic 'Dawson’s Creek,' which THEY.’s song title references. It’s turned out to be one of the most popular songs of THEY.’s career, racking up over seven million Spotify streams since its release.
