As summer comes to an end, Natural Delights Medjool dates are finally ready to be harvested! During this time thousands of workers will come into the farms to harvest our Medjool dates. Workers are lifted safely into the Medjool date palms where they open the mesh bags and allow ripe fruit to fall into a collection bin or net. The workers are trained to harvest the ripest dates and the rest are left on the palm to continue to ripen until the next harvest a few weeks later. On the ground workers remove the bad dates and everything else is sent to the facility for grading, sorting and packing.
