September 30th is an upsetting day at the Sacramento History Museum. Alex’s internship has concluded and he will be returning to home in Belgium.
Alex has been with us since the beginning of February. He has helped our education staff with leading school programs this past spring, organized our research library, helped plan special events, starred in videos on social media, and created our SacTown History Quest, a history hunt we held this past summer.
These past couple of weeks, Alex has been learning about our print shop exhibit to prepare himself for this video. In this video, Alex says goodbye to the Sacramento History Museum while letterpress printing a phrase in large wood type. From all of us at the Sacramento History Museum, we are going to miss you, Alex!
