Here's a video on how I found out a set of Sony VTC4 cells I bought from AliExpress seller "Turmera" ([ Ссылка ]) were fake. Not only that, I found out by chance that it was a Samsung ICR18650-22P battery that had been re-labeled and re-wrapped. To find this out, I did a cycle test as well as unwrapping the cells to look at the top cap and bottom of the cell.
I will be running the same set of tests on a set of Panasonic NCR18650Bs I purchased from Liitokala.
