terrible recording quality with my smartphone, the engine sounds like a tank, never mind that. you can hear a whining noise (it's a little more perceptible in real life but you still need a fine ear to hear it, if there is music you don't hear it at all). as I accelerate... the engine is cold here, the sound diminishes as the temperature gets to 90 ° but still whines between 2000 et 2300 RPM. Is it normal or is my turbo dying? The car is a Golf 5 1.9 TDI 90 HP with 170K mostly on highways. I have it for 2 years and use it in the city. I just noticed the sound when my radio stopped working but maybe it was always there.. Thanks
