No götterdammerung.

First things second, today I finished upgrading everyone to weapon level 9, which means everyone has a lot more power now compared to my previous kills.

Both the transference module on Tifa and the enhanced expeditionary medal on Aerith were completely useless because neither of them got limit breaks. This was my first attempt at a strat without the götterdammerung, and my first time using the transference module. I didn't realize how slowly it builds limit gauge, but I got a bit of good luck in the Sephiroth and Gilgamesh fights, which made all the difference.

Cloud's focus is on building gauge for himself and everyone else, and the haste shoes were a perfect fit for this. ATB assist is a god-tier materia. There are 4 reasons I use Cloud and not Tifa as my ATB assist pilot: 1.) focused thrust is faster and builds more stagger than focused strike, 2.) Cloud can use punisher stance stance for Odin and can counterstance to simultaneously parry+trigger ATB assist, 3.) Cloud can quickly bridge the gap between himself and enemies (and also get airborne on his own) with evade hold combo, 4.) Sleek Saber has +25% ATB bonus from attacks.

I think I'll take a shirt break and try Cait Sith/Aerith/Tifa next time, because Moogle Knuckle gives a neat 40% stagger damage bonus.
