Understanding Multicluster Kubernetes Connectivity Options - Shannon McFarland, Cisco
Kubernetes is becoming more and more prevalent in modern-day cloud-native deployments. However, as Kubernetes deployments grow, there is more demand for connecting workloads between Kubernetes clusters. Even with simpler Kubernetes-based microservice deployments, there can be challenges with consistent and reliable connectivity between Kubernetes (K8s) clusters. This session will provide multiple options for establishing secure and scalable connectivity between cloud-native workloads hosted on multiple Kubernetes clusters. Options will include: CNI (Cilium Cluster Mesh), and Service meshes (Linkerd and Istio)
