In 2005, BAR had been through a difficult start to the season, after finishing 2004 so strongly second in the championship.
But when it came to the 2005 San Marino Grand Prix, the stewards noticed something iffy about the car. It had TWO fuel tanks. Both Button, who finished 3rd, and Sato in 5th were disqualified and then the team was banned for two races.
