In today's piano lesson we're going to take a look behind the scenes at how a pianist "thinks" when reharmonizing a few bars in a simple song. You'll see we start out from a very basic progression and step by step build it up until it sounds mature and sophisticated. We'll use secondary dominants, tritone substitutions, inversions, diatonic substitutions, seventh chords, tensions and just plain old experimentation to get the job done!

This tutorial can be viewed on two levels:
1. As an advanced pianist looking to get insight into where different techniques can be implemented in practice.
2. As a beginner/intermediate pianist to get inspired and also to basically learn how to play a pretty cool and great sounding chord progression! You don't really need any special theory to just copy what I'm doing.
