There is an enormous trend during a few last years of catching our biggest freshwater catfish – wels. Fortunately, we have a lot of great areas for catfishing and, moreover, the Czech Fishing Union quite regularly stock new catfish into our main rivers such as Elbe (Labe), Moldau (Vltava) or Berounka.
How to catch catfish? There are many different fishing methods for catching catfish wels, however, the most exciting is fishing with clonk from a boat or float tube. In this video I explained basics of catfishing with clonk. Don't hesitate to drop me a question in comments below this video!
