ABOUT
Honestly, I'd forgotten about the Life in a Day 2020 challenge until my daughter and I were driving to meet the boat and she asked, "Isn't today that day people are supposed to film their day?" Fortunately, I at least had my phone so I used that to film. No special camera or audio, no thoughtful prep, no makeup or nice clothes...just our raw day. I don't expect any of my footage to be used for a variety of (mostly technical) reasons, but it was a GREAT day so I wanted to share it anyway. Even though I live on San Juan Island, it's so rare that I actually get to go crabbing out of Roche Harbor. The weather was gorgeous and I was so happy to be out of quarantine and able to be close to family and friends, not to mention be out and about in PUBLIC after quarantine! Our crab dinner outside on the patio was amazing, and we were greeted by a mama deer and her twins.
