Autogynephilia: the misunderstood sexuality or a myth?

Autogynephilia is a source of controversy and many disagreements both relating to its form and existence. Some claim it exists, others claim it doesn't.
Aytogynephilia is a term coined by Ray Blanchard who conducted a study on transwomen in 1980s and wrote a few papers on the subject of autogynephilia. Blanchard distinguished between two types of transwomen: the homosexual transsexual (transwomen attracted to men) and heterosexual transsexual, also know as an autogynephilic male.
Blanchard's study has met a lot of criticism over the years, largely from transgender community and transgender academics such as Julia Serano and Natali Wynn, known as ContraPoints. Julia Serano wrote a paper on this subject titled "The Case Against Autogynephilia". At the same time the term has also garnered a lot of defenders. The term autogynephilia gained popularity thanks to Michael Bailey's 2003 book "The Man Who Would Be Queen" and Anne Lawrence's 2013 book "Men Trapped in Men's Bodies".
In this video i am addressing Blanchard's transsexualism typology, its criticism and sharing my own thoughs and reflections on the autogynephilia phenomenon. This video also features clips videos by ContraPoints, a transgender woman and Ray Alex Williams, a fellow detransitioner.
I am a male detransitioner who has detransitioned 8 years ago. One year ago i made a video "My detransition story: the dark truth behind gender dysphoria and transition regret." Since then i have continued making videos on the topic of detransition as well as various content on the subject of philosophy, politics, social issues and mental health. I have featured Buck Angel and Ritchie Herron on my channel. I have also appeared in the documentary "Lost Boys: Searching for Manhood" along another detransitioner, Ritchie Herron.
