This Uwe Klose F-style guitar built at Santa Cruz in 1984 is in excellent condition thanks to a professional and very beautiful restoration by Toni Müller ( of Albert & Müller) in 2008. Uwe built this guitar in 1984 when he finished his apprenticeship with Richard Hoover and - at the time - Bruce Ross. This beautiful lightweight SJ or, as some also call it, F-style guitar has a beautiful Hawaiian koa body and a bearclaw Alpine spruce top giving the guitar a very resonant and lively character. The top is coated with nitro lacquer and the rest of the guitar with a DD-like lacquer during the restoration, this is why the guitar looks so clean. But before the restoration, this was a real "workhorse" and this is why, despite looking brand new, the guitar feels and sounds like a well-played instrument. The guitar also has a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with dot inlay, cream bindings, Indian rosewood bridge, and a fantastic Macassar ebony headstock plate and Schaller tuners. Includes a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
