The 2023 Solterra starts at $46,220 whereas the 2023 bZ4X has a starting price of $43,215.

The main reason why the Subaru is more expensive is that it only comes with a dual motor setup and AWD while Toyota offers a FWD version in its base trim.

However the Solterra would still be $925 more expensive than the optional AWD bZ4x XLE.

The Toyota only offers two trim levels - XLE and Limited. The Solterra on the other hand offers three - Premium, Limited, and Touring with the Touring being the most expensive at $53,220. This makes the Solterra Touring the most expensive Subaru on sale today.

The FWD BZ4X Limited starts at $47,915, and if you want to add another motor and AWD it will cost you around $2,000 for both the XLE and the Limited.
