When Red-Pepper came with me to help Jeff over at Bobblehead Homestead, Jeff ended up blessing her with a dozen eggs from his French Black Copper Maran pullets. Since they had just started laying, he wasn't sure if any of their eggs were fertile, but our girls decided to find out. Since we have a 48 egg incubator, they added in two dozen of our eggs and one dozen from a neighbor who wanted to see if their chicken eggs were fertile. In this video, we incubate, candle, and begin to hatch the eggs. We'll provide an update soon!
