Welcome back to another video My name is Aaron and I hope people expand their consciousness. Now this video I'm going to be sharing with you how to overcome the fear of being successful and what I want to do is give you some tools and some perspectives that can completely transform the way that you see this whole process. Now this to me was something that when I hear the idea of it to me it just sounds ridiculous. Now I must say it is ridiculous if you thought this I thought the same thing before that maybe there's a fear I have of being successful. But the fundamental core to me it just sounds ridiculous. Who is afraid of being successful. Now it's not so much that we are afraid of being successful but we are afraid of the side effects of what can happen because of success of success.
And what that could be is people thinking about us differently which really means that we're afraid of people thinking about us differently could be the uncertainty of what can happen because it's a completely different paradigm than the way we currently think in the present moment. It could be fear of change but at the fundamental base level I think it's important to not explain ourselves and to label ourselves of having a fear of success because ultimately if we fear success we're going to be in our definitions alone people walking us from having the experience because it is something that we are associating pain with. It's something that we are moving away from we generally we tend to move away from things that make us feel painful or things that we're afraid of and we will move towards states that we associate pleasure. So think about it in the form of our definitions if we associate it with being something beneficial we will gravitate towards it more and it'll be something that the motivation just seems to run itself out with.
So first off I want to say that we are not afraid of success. What the first thing we should do is just get rid of that ideology altogether. But understand that we maybe are afraid of change and we may be afraid of what people think about us which means that what we can then do is work at that level versus trying to work at a symptom level of thinking it's actually about the success because at the fundamental level. Who wouldn't want to progress when a strong human desire is to feel grow your progression is something we all want. We want to be successful we want the stability we want the security we want the new experiences we want the freedom that comes from the money that we want to create.
The idea behind it is knowing that we maybe subconsciously associate in pain with change. Now let's talk about this in the form of friends family judgment from other people because it's very important to understand success. Now
if we saw our parents for example when we were growing up get on us and show us that that kind of person is this kind of way because of the money they had or they had to step on people's heads to get to the top or thinking that there's any negative connotation to being rich we will naturally have a block about becoming successful. Now the idea behind this is to first off realize that that's not our belief that a lot of these beliefs came from our parents. A lot of these perspectives and these associations came from our environment and they were actually our own thoughts. We were absorbing them and we have been carrying around other people's ideologies thinking that they're our own. Now this is the time and this is the part of the video where I encourage you to let go of other people's ideologies.
Let go of what other people think and simply decide you are going to believe what you prefer to believe. Now it can't be that simple can it must be much more complicated it must be this long process of letting go of beliefs that don't serve us. But I need to tell you that letting go of beliefs is about awareness. It's about becoming aware of what your perspectives are and what your identity who you are relates to. You may have for years been unconscious to some of these ideas that your beliefs create your reality. You may have been unconscious of what your beliefs even are because it's just kind of black and white. It's the way we see the world. But becoming aware that there is a belief that is not yours anymore gives you the power to decide to let it go from this point going forward if you do choose to have the perspective of what my friends think of...
