PLEASE CONTACT A WILD LIFE REHAB AS SOON AS POSSIBLE......Helping an injured bird is a basic human response. It is never nice to find an injured or sick bird! In this video I am going to talk about what to do if you find one.
In providing a bird feeder full of food for our feathered friends, sometimes, unfortunate events can occur. Birds can strike into windows and sustain injuries to the head and neck. They can also be attacked by larger animals and predatory birds causing all types of injuries.
If you are in Michigan, there are a few wildlife rehabilitation centers that will take different types of hurt or sick wildlife.
* IT IS IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS CALL AHEAD!!!!! Also be kind, as many of these individuals work very hard and are on call at all hours. If you do take an animal to a rehabilitation center, it would be SO kind of you to donate on behalf of the animal you are surrendering to them. It helps with this animal’s care!
