People can expect to see more of what we're dealing with right now when it comes to restrictions, according to one of the nation’s top infectious disease experts, Anthony Fauci. Plus, there's an expectation that with many traveling back home after Thanksgiving cases will be going up even more in the coming weeks.
As the Thanksgiving holiday weekend comes to an end, Sunday was one of the busiest travel days of the year. The same can be said for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Port of Seattle officials won’t have concrete numbers until early next week but the Transportation Security Administration estimates forecast roughly 20,000 travelers passing through security Sunday.
King County criminal courts are still conducting business, but mostly online. The busy courts have been backpacked because of the coronavirus, and have waived rights to a speedy trial as a result.
Plus, a nurse from Seattle has been selected to join President-elect Joe Biden and vice-president elect Kamala Harris’ COVID-19 advisory board.
