For the third Thursday in the last month, we've got a chance for severe #storms in Texas. Unlike last Thursday and the weeks before, this event may be more of a 'glancing blow' versus a full-on smack on the face from baseball-size #hail. Nevertheless, we may see isolated severe storms with very large hail after 5 PM in Northwest Texas and Texoma. Those storms will move northeast, with more numerous storms likely in southern Oklahoma. Late tonight, a line of storms will fire up in #NorthwestTexas, the #BigCountry, the #ConchoValley, and perhaps down into the #EdwardsPlateau. Those storms will move east on Friday, weakening as they approach I-35 in North-Central Texas by the morning rush hour. As we head into Friday afternoon, those same storms may reinvigorate across Northeast Texas, East Texas, and the Piney Woods of East Texas. The threat of #severestorms, including some #tornado threats, will increase as storms get closer to Louisiana tomorrow afternoon. A #severeweather outbreak, including tornadoes, is likely across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi Friday evening. For us in Texas, we'll be drying out by Friday evening, with Saturday looking dry and warm across the state. Rain chances return to Southeast #Texas on Sunday.
