Despite the annulling their convictions for murder, the Supreme Court found that it is "incontrovertible" that Meredith Kercher was killed by more than one person, and that Rudy Guede did not kill alone; the verdict also finds that it is a "proven fact" that Amanda Knox was present at the murder, and that she even washed her hands from Meredith's blood. The Court also noted the "repeated" lies by Knox, and pointed out that her false accusation against an innocent man was a "protracted and repeated behavior".
A subsequent ruling by another Court, in Florence, found that "all Raffaele Sollecito's versions are lies".
