In May of 2024, I embarked on my biggest adventure in a while: Solo hiking The Great Outdoors Challenge (TGO), a self-supported hiking event across Scotland from coast to coast.
Come join me for days 3 to 5 that saw me hiking through and out of Knoydart and back to civilization after 4 days in the wild. The scenery was incredible and almost felt unreal!! But I also had some very long and hard days, stayed in a remote bothy and faced one of my biggest fears.

Barrisdale Bothy-A'Chuil Bothy (via Sourlies) (17.1mi/27,5km | ascent: 1275m)
A'Chuil Bothy-Gairlochy (20.4mi/32,8km | ascent: 650m)
Gairlochy-Loch Treig (via Spean Bridge and Lairig Leacach) (17.1mi/27,5km | ascent: 880m)
