THE SUMMER show season is well and truly underway and the latest stop on the Around the Dog World calendar was at Newbury Showground for Southern Counties.

But summer was not particularly forthcoming, with mixed conditions throughout the weekend; however, when we went under cover and into the main ring the dogs on display brightened up the weekend, concluding with a selection of seven wonderful dogs for Sigurd Wilberg who was judging Best in show.

Watch all seven groups, best in show and exclusive interviews on Around the Dog World – Southern Counties 2015, which premieres on Thursday July 2 at 8pm on Horse & Country (Sky 253). Viewers without Sky should visit the DOG WORLD website from next Friday to watch the full programme online.

And this month there is the added extra of highlights of Bath Best in show too, where David Cavill’s choice was guaranteed to be a first-time winner at that level.
