Hotel Transylvania 3 Toys are still rolling out on to toy shelves. One that I know will be a hot ticket item for the holidays will be the Grand Lobby playset! If you have the Scream Cheese Cafe and the Bedroom set, then you can connect to them easily to the sides of the Grand Lobby. With working lights and various spooky sounds paired with the Gothic decor, this play set is sure to please and spook! Lanterns illuminate the iconic wall of hotel room keys; press a key and there are different light up variations with steady light to blinking light with ghostly moans and thunder strikes. Each play set includes an exclusive figure, and you collect the figure by unlocking it from a secret compartment. With this set, you get a golden skeleton key.

With the set you get 10 accessories including two poseable figures. Mavis is included and dressed in her formal attire (the dress skirt is removable), and you also get the zombie bellhop who is really articulated! The zombie can bring in a guest’s luggage with bellman’s cart. Guests can relax by the fire in the heavy arm chair after checking into the hotel at the check-in counter. Overlooking the hotel is a portrait of Dracula himself, and sometimes he will check in with a Mavis by means of that portrait (if you watch the series, you know what I’m talking about). Guests can take the grand staircase up to their rooms take the spooky lift that activates the lights and sounds when it manually goes up and down. The balcony is a great place to oversee the lobby’s that’s Er happenings. Behind the balcony is a fold down ceiling that allows other play sets to connect.

You can find the Hotel Transylvania Grand Lobby play set for $39.99 at retailers like Amazon and Target. It used 2 AAA batteries to power the lights and sounds. Connecting different sets to the Grand Lobby really make this set large, so be sure to make room! Overall, I found this toy to be engaging and it really illuminates the story of Hotel Transylvania. You can pair other toys to stay inside this toy hotel.
