Sonic Wave is a level that was verified in late 2016 by the player Sunix, and it is currently my hardest completion. However, Sunix was not the sole verifier. A player named Mefewe also got significant progress on the level, getting 98% before dropping it. This death is often told as the worst fail in Geometry Dash history.
But Mefewe was not playing on the same version as Sunix. Mefewe's was heavily buffed from the version we know today. This video is for the sole purpose of showing how much harder Mefewe's is than the verified version (Sunix's)
Heavily inspired by @LeTim, check him out!
Mefewe's buffed version: 39942311
Sunix's unbuffed version: 26681070
How the overlay works: red color channel is taken from unnerfed version, green and blue - from nerfed version. So, if the color of a pixel in both versions are same, then after overlaying its color is NOT distorted. If there is a difference, then the color is distorted depending on which color channels prevail.
