Just released my “3 week Bebop Challenge” on my site. I get a lot of questions about developing vocabulary, playing what you hear, and outlining changes coherently, so I decided to put together this challenge for people wanting a structured and efficient approach to developing and using bebop language. The challenge includes links to video lessons w/accompanying PDFs (w/ TAB), a weekly practice plan, and 2 backing tracks. The examples are performed on guitar; however, any instrument will benefit from the material. The challenge is only available until January 13th as a voluntary email lesson/ review will be available the last week of the challenge.

The plan has 2 tiers, the 1st is designed for people wondering what to do with vocabulary they’ve transcribed and how to make it their own. The 2nd tier is for people that are wondering how to make the most of 1 piece of vocabulary, as well as play intervallic and “outside” of the changes.
