Thanks to science and logic it's becoming apparent that free will doesn’t exist in any form. Almost all serious researchers and scientists believe that the universe is fully deterministic, even if future events in it can’t be accurately predicted due to quantum indeterminacy.
Plus, all forms of compatibilism, the philosophy that traditional free and moral responsibility can coexist with causal determinism, have seemly all been refuted pretty clearly to date, including those by Harry Frankfurt, Daniel Dennet, and more.
If there’s no free will, it means moral responsibility can’t possibly exist either. At least the type of moral responsibility we’re traditionally used to since that would require the ability for one to be able to do otherwise. In this video, I’ll cover why that’s a big deal, changes we can make as a society in the face of this inconvenient truth, and why those changes will significantly benefit your life.
