Elizabeth Mirabal (Havana, 1986). She graduated in Journalism from the University of Havana in 2009. Her first novel, La isla de las mujerestristes, won the 2014 Ibero-American Verbum Award. She is co-author of the essay On the steps of the chronicler (2011) and the book of testimonies Looking for Cain (2012 ), both about Cabrera Infante, as well as the volume Hablar de Guillermo Rosales (2013) and the interview volumes Tiempo de hearing (2011) and Chakras. Stories of dispersed Cuba (2014). He has also published the compilations La intimidad de la historia (2013), Regreso de Ricardo Vigón (2015) and Complete Poetry by Juana Borrero (2016). The Beauty of Uselessness (2020) is his most recent novel.
