Producers for FRIDAY THE 13TH's failed reboot at Paramount opened up about why the film failed to get going. Paramount's execs didn't think a horror movie would do well for them, so they let the rights lapse back to New Line Cinema. And now New Line/Warner Bro's are currently in a rights dispute with the film's original writer Victor Miller. So even though the FRIDAY THE 13TH GAME is quite popular, I don't think we'll see a return to Camp Crystal Lake any time soon.
