This is the showcase of the Celeste True Ending TAS played live at Summer Games Done Quick 2023! The run is presented by Lmjacks, tmcalvins, and Vamp, joined by Noel Berry from EXOK Games. Since the last Celeste TAS shown at GDQ 4 years ago, the level of optimization has improved dramatically, and the community around Celeste TASing is bigger than ever. Thanks to everyone who contributed ideas, strategies, and tools to make this run what it is today!

With a final in-game time of 32:18.544, True Ending completes Farewell as fast as possible from a new file. This involves completing the game through Summit while collecting 4 hearts, beating the Core A-Side, and then clearing Farewell. The final time came down over 3 minutes since the category was first submitted to GDQ last spring, due in no small part to the discovery of spinner stunning. This glitch and many other techniques are explained throughout the run. Additionally, a donation incentive was met to show the All C-Sides TAS at the end—we hope you enjoy both runs!
