A lot of references are played in the Ending Credits, relating to GTA IV and The Lost and Damned itself. The first one begins in GTA IV's mission "Roman's Sorrow", where Niko drives Roman in his Taxi around Broker to witness the safehouse in Broker and Roman's cab depot both destroyed by fires. Eventually, they have to go to Bohan for their new safehouse for now.
The second reference remains in GTA IV, with one mission "Ivan the Not So Terrible" being played. Niko is seen chasing Ivan around the rooftops, until Ivan accidently steps on the edge of a dead end and clings on to it. This is where Niko gets to either spare Ivan or let him die, as this type of morality choice is first introduced in the game. Then out of nowhere, the camera hovers over to Roman's Taxi and Dardan's beige Willard during the mission "Bleed Out". Roman is seen beaten up by Bledar and Kalem, while Niko comes out of nowhere to respond to the scene.
The third reference finally goes to The Lost and Damned, with the mission "Shifting Weight" played. Johnny eventually has to sit on the back of Malc's bike after his Hexer was destroyed by a dealer. DeSean rides along in his bike, while Johnny shoots and kills officers with a SMG instead. However, backup (Terry and Clay) for Johnny will not be seen.
The fourth reference shows Johnny riding along in his Hexer with two fellow bikers around BOABO, Broker. As the camera shifts over to the eastern shore of the Humboldt River as it appears to be, the mission "Uncle Vlad" is played in GTA IV. Niko is seen, once again, executing Vlad with a pistol, while Roman (with blood over his stomach) comes over to witness the death of Vlad.
The fifth reference shows the Libertonian surrounded by Ray Boccino's men. This is during GTA IV's mission "Museum Piece" and TLaD's mission "Collector's Item". One group of Ray's men are seen shooting at the door Johnny originally entered and now exiting. But Johnny isn't there to see, instead shooting through the door. Meanwhile, two of Ray's men head to the other side of the Libertonian, where Niko is seen shooting at them with a SMG. Afterwards, Niko walks over to get into a PMP 600 parked. Not to forget, it also happens in The Ballad of Gay Tony's mission "Not So Fast", since Luis can be seen up at the rooftops of the Libertonian shooting down. But Yusef's gold-painted Buzzard is not seen, since Luis used it to land at the rooftops.
The sixth reference goes back to TLaD, during the mission "Angels in America". This is where the Angels of Death are fleeing in their bikes, after witnessing the death of an AoD lieutenant by Billy. The Lost MC chases and tries to kill them all, before the AoD can warn the club about the death.
The final reference ends in GTA IV, during the mission "Three Leaf Clover". A cop car is seen responding to a bank robbery at the Bank of Liberty in Algonquin. Arriving, multiple cop cars and officers have the bank surrounded, while a NOOSE Annihilator is flying near the bank. When the doors opened, Niko, Patrick McReary and Derrick McReary (Michael was killed by a bystander with a concealed gun) opens fire at the cops.
Now that I have finished the storyline missions in TLaD, I might as well continue to finish up the 25 Gang Wars and have them uploaded. I will also try to do the side missions in this game as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
