French presidential candidate and leader of the far-left party La France Insoumise (France Unbowed), Jean-Luc Mélenchon talks to supporters in Paris's business district and says "France is not the far-right", as rival Eric Zemmour holds his first campaign rally on the outskirts of the capital. Zemmour, a 63-year-old author and far-right television pundit, launched his bid for the presidency in a highly unusual video posted on YouTube. His candidacy is a wild card that could yet have a major impact or simply fizzle out.
